As you near the giant plasma screen television you will see the face of a pale famle with red rimmed eyes and red stained lips. The image goes in and out as aging interference seems to be eating away at the last bit of life that the machines in this high tech facility once had to offer. Her face is distressed as her gaze seems to flicker about in nervousness, her tongue moistening her lips to further prove her strained state of being.
"Hello, if you're watching this then the events that have transpired over the past few days have taken a turn for the irreversible worse. I am Doctor Elizabeth Forge and I worked on the Human Genome Project's most sensitive and top secret experiments and research." The female choked on her words as sounds of banging can be heard in the background followed by a gutteral snarl. "These walls can only hold back the hybrids for a certain amount of time so I must be quick..."
As she took in a deep breathe images of Cypgroup Ventures buildings and science labs began to flicker about the screen around the female's face.
"We here at Cypgroup spearheaded the most innovative and creative technology known to man...we have found cures for many forms of cancer, have been able to extend people diagnosed with H.I.V. lives to decades. Our technology has saved billions, and our weaponry has killed millions..."
Her lips would rub together as her eyes would seem to peer straight at you, tears welling up about them as she tried to contain her emotions.
"It wasn't just advanced weaponry we dabbled in...here at the Human Genome Project we specialized in cloning, animal experimentation and gene splicing. No rhyme or reason, we weren't looking to control mankind, nor aid it...nor create truly anything aside from a genetically enhanced human just so that we could say we did..."
Her hands whipped to her cheeks as she wiped away the stray tears that threatened to flow. "We had not expected the anti-genome group to actually infiltrate our maximum security facility...our overconfidence has led to the downfall of Centennial City..."
"The News has already covered the ground zero of what occurred, the infiltration, the unexpected adverse reaction the virus that was placed into our Hybrids had when coming into contact with human life....but the hybrids have escaped and you must be informed of their dangers..." The female choked once more as she glanced down. "I'm sorry, we didn't mean for this to happen.."
The female shifted on her seat as her image disappeared but her voice remained; several files containing different Experiment Numbers appeared upon glowing red tabs. "Just touch the screen and learn what you can..." The sounds of glass shattering echoed across the screen; the sounds of an animal unlike no other pounced upon it's prey. You hear the screams of the doctor as her flesh was torn to shreds; the sounds of bones breaking as her screams died off to a mere gurgling sound.
A button for you to press flashes across the screen, a biohazard sign circling it's middle. "Do you wish to continue? Yes or No."
